Zwillingstürme • Twin Towers
Dieser Beitrag handelt von den beiden Leuchttürmen am Nordrand der Insel Sylt, direkt an der Grenze zwischen Deutschland und Dänemark.
Der Teil der Insel wird „Ellenbogen“ genannt. List Ost, der Turm mit dem roten Ring, ist etwas größer als sein weißer Bruder List West.
Beide wurden 1857 gebaut und nahmen am 1. Januar 1858 ihr Licht in Betrieb. Damals war die Insel noch dänisches Hoheitsgebiet.
Es war ein wunderschöner Tag mit einem ganz besonderen Himmel, nur wenige Menschen gingen am Strand spazieren. Man sieht die rostigen Buhnen, die vor langer Zeit im Sand hinterlassen wurden.
Ich war mit zwei Kameras unterwegs, jede mit einem schweren Zoomobjektiv.

This article is about the two lighthouses located at the northern edge of the island Sylt, right at the border between Germany and Denmark.
The part of the island is called 'Elbow'. List East, the one with the red ring, is slightly taller than his white sibling List West.

It was a beautiful day with a very special sky, only few people walking on the beach. You see the rusty groynes that were left in the sand long time ago.

My name is Robert C. Lemm, born in 1965, and I was given my first camera as a present in 1977.
In 2000 I bought my first digital camera and between 2006 and 2022 I regularly worked on projects with musicians.
